It was a performance that firmly established their leadership claims as they strengthened their place at the top of the table.

The Red Devils' capability to juggle league and continental soccer with a small squad has been a widely debated subject since they earned a place in the European competition. Reviewing the schedule, it always felt like this was the matchday that would seriously challenge this capability. Sadly for the away side, they looked fatigued all game, the landmark win against the French side clearly having had an impact.

Team Changes
